Niacinamide = Nicotinamide?

Solgar's niacinamide is the only brand I've been able to find here where I live. At their website, the name on the bottle says "niacinamide". The stores around here only have bottles named "nicotinamide". I've read members here mention niacinamide is the same as nicotinamide, but for my peace of mind, could someone confirm they really are the same?

Yes, it is the same substance. If you Google it, you will see both names in the Wikipedia page.

Yes I believe niacinimide is more commonly used in the U S of A.
