One of my many takeaways from this article, I am responsible. And I can change my viewpoint as I change my mind and habits. But it’s very sad for me, because one is the reality and one is the utopian ideal. At least it’s coming to light that most don’t need antidepressants (permanently?) we just need to feel some meaning in our lives. For me it is hopeful, anything transparent like this cannot be bad.

Cliche is: secrets make us sicker. We’re not making headway because honest, meaningful connections, that doesn’t come in pill form. And with social dollars, we’re made to feel that there is something wrong with us. It’s the social constructs that make everything impossible; there’s always someone richer and poorer. We are people, our society ($) doesn’t leave much wiggle room for humanity. And there’s no way it could be simple like that. I am becoming more and more restless with this, it’s not fair.
