Need Some Help Figuring Out Iron Labs

Hi!

I'm hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on my iron lab results:

Iron 162
Ferritin 39
Saturation 54%
TIBC 298

The ferritin seems quite low, but the iron and saturation seem high-ish. Any clues what this points to?

I have this same issue. Hematologist does not think hemochromatosis but is confused.

My hair tissue mineral analysis showed a copper toxicity, so it is possibly a copper issue. I just got some ceruloplasmin tests and other copper labs done so maybe that will lead to some answers.

In the meantime, I considered giving blood but my ferritin is 51 last I checked, so not so high.

Will keep you updated if I discover something.
