So a little embarrassing but here it goes. I am a 25 year old male in decent shape, and been having libido / semen issues. Sorry to sound blunt or disgusting buy my girlfriend has a bit of a cum fetish. She like when guys able to "produce" a lot of semen when they orgasm. Dont ask why but it is a total turn on to her. Unfortunately for me I hardly produce any semen when I orgasm maybe like 1-2 squirts or a teaspoon full. Also been having a lot of libido issue over the past year I am maybe in the "mood" only once a week which is not normal for a 25 year old male. I have had my testosterone checked it fluctuates between 600-700ng/dl, so that doesn't seem to be an issue. I follow a Peat diet the bulk of my foods consist of OJ, Milk, Ice Cream, Potatoes, Coconut Oil, Eggs, Butter, Liver, Lamb leg, and I avoid PUFAs life the plague. I live a pretty stress free life, have money, get 7-9 hours sleep, steady job, generally good moods, workout 1-2 times a week.

So I guess my questions are is their any foods in particular that will raise libido, produce more semen, and if possible boost testosterone? Any are there any natural supplements you guys would recommend like horny goat weed, tongkat ali, ginseng etc..

The human male didn't evolve to be a semen firehose every single day of the year so your girl and you need to realize that is a porn distortion of reality. But from what you describe there is probably some more progress yet to be made in your metabolism, so I'll address that.

Low desire for sex seems to almost always be a serotonin, estrogen, and/or prolactin issue. Did you ever go through an undereating/overtraining/undersleeping/undercarbing phase? My understanding is that this can build up a lot of adaptive metabolic changes that lead to chronic low libido to conserve energy even if you are at the young age of 25. Some serotonin reducing drugs might help. I would try BCAA's with protein meals first to see if that works (you should know within a day). If it doesn't then you probably have low dopamine, which is also probably a sign of high prolactin.

Get your prolactin and PTH checked. If it's high then you obviously know that its something you need to get addressed if you want to improve your libido and general metabolism. For some people it's a matter of increasing calcium metabolism for others the root issue is zinc deficiency. You'll have to experiment a little to see which one it is. If it's a calcium problem then fat solubles and magnesium should lower your prolactin greatly along with PTH. If that doesn't work it might be a zinc deficiency. To work on this lower your calcium and copper intake while you increase your beef consumption to at least 8-16oz a day (with adequate glycine/gelatin) and take a little supplemental zinc and B6. You might have to do this for quite a few months to get your zinc back to an ideal and your prolactin under-control. I had a zinc deficiency and for me things didn't get better until I lowered calcium/copper and increased zinc.

I would also recommend very bright light soon after you wake up for at least an hour. Obviously the easiest way would be going outside in the sun. Circadian rhythm is key for keeping hormonal release and production optimal.

Some other considerations are using some LED therapy with 660nm and 850nm arrays. In particular for a few minutes every other day on your thyroid and testicles to improve their function as they are obviously key for sexual function.

Also consider 5-15 mg DHEA per day in divided doses, and at least a few egg yolks.

Oh and address endotoxin if you haven't already as that can be a major cause of serotonin build up: carrot salad, activated charcoal, oregano oil.

Just passing along what I've learned worked for me.

Vitamin E - 1000 increases volume as does proper hydration
L-Dopa - inhibits prolactin by raising dopamine and that raises libido
Lysine - suppresses serotonin
This forum has many posts about how to lower prolactin and serotonin and estrogen thru the use of supplements. They have worked for me.

Do you produce little precum as well? If so, your issue may be personality-based or from high adrenalin and low dopamine. Also, how visible are your veins? Amphetamines and hypoglycemia cause low precum, low cum, and cause the veins to the penis to shrink, these things can indicate high adrenalin in you.

I noticed you don't mention eating gelatin - did you just forget to write it? I'm no expert on this stuff but the gelatin sounds like a really important part of the whole plan, especially in terms of stress hormones, which can really impact libido. I've only had increased libido since going Peat.

I know from personal experience, if I want to have a lot of sex, I need Carbs and Sleep. And not the Carbs from fruits, but the carbs from White Rice, Ezekial Breads, Garden of Eaten Blue Chips, Hummus, Popcorn, Pasta's, Carbs in Greek Yogurt, etc which are not Peat friendly....but you have to experiment with your own body. Try having a few days of High Carbs and see how your sex drive fluctuates.

Anyone else experience the same thing? I'm curious as to why that would be (and worried because I can't tolerate starches at all).

Nope. I don't eat any starch and am fine no matter how much activity I have sexual or not. But I do eat tons of raw butter and raw honey.

But some people do a lot better with starch it seems. I know for me it took a minimum of three months to finally feel ok without starch though.

Well, there are things that help with fertility like hCG and HMG. But I'm unsure how lasting their effects are, or even how safe they are. I think they do help with the precise issue you've described though. Ultimately if your libido isn't on point I would focus on that and look at haidut's threads regarding naturally boosting testosterone. If you're only focusing on diet, supplemental thyroid, pregnenolone, and progesterone can all enhance libido. I've read many boards on people suffering sexual dysfunction and nothing I've seen is more effective than those treatments.

Saw Palmetto is what you are looking for.

Although mostly I imagine its genetics. Anyway the only thing I have found that you would up for taking is Saw Palmetto.

Last time I checked this company was additive free

Not to criticize because I need all the advice I can get, but I read that saw palmetto works as an 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which blocks Testosterone into DHT. I was under the impression that DHT more so than testosterone is what contributes to libido? Would appreciate if anyone knew for certain and could clarify.

Saw Palmetto on the net is both promoted for male vitality, as well as promoted as something that can lower testosterone. So it's tough to tell what is what unless one tries it on themselves and then gets tested. I can confirm there are several studies I've seen in the past that confirms your concern about saw being a 5alpha reductase inhibitor. So if it's testosterone you're after, you should avoid. That being said, it might have an overall positive effect on your intercourse experience.

If you delay ejaculation, you will inevitably produce more once you ejaculate. Try bringing yourself very close to ejac several times before actually ejaculating. To get very close to the threshold, you will need control of some of the smaller muscles in your pelvic region for this. Sleep more, especially after sex or any exercise. In the past I've used the juice of watermelon (with lots of white rind juice) which usually works to fast track my libido, though this could be a placebo.

Unfortunately the net has created an unattainable fetish for your gf (well at least in your current situation). I dated someone like that in that past. We compromised, she ended up licking my sweat to take in whatever extra fluid she thought she needed.

Very interesting... I was not aware of that. All I know is from experience. It definitely increases semen output. I can't tell if it had any effect on my libido though.

Saw palmetto is a 5ar inhibitor and there are people who have developed PFS from it. So if that's not enough to turn you away, I don't know what is. That may suggest it has poor interactions in the body generally.

There's a lot of things you can do. Have you tried thyroid, pregnenolone, or progesterone? These things are no joke when used appropriately - I've seen them turn people's lives around. Maybe you can look into andractim or proviron DHT. Also look at haidut's thread on sexuality through a Peat prism. And if you want potentially faster results you can research hCG but I can't personally vouch for its safety.

I think all questions regarding libido can be answered with this excerpt from a blog post by Danny Roddy:

Fat-soluble vitamins are anti-prolactin, anti-estrogen, and are the building blocks of steroid hormone synthesis. Vitamin A seems to be especially important—suggesting that the widespread use of Vitamin D to be potentially dangerous.
•Vitamin A - beef liver, egg yolks
•Vitamin D - sun, minor supplementation (if A and K levels are adequate!)
•Vitamin K - beef liver, egg yolks
•Vitamin E - beef liver, egg yolks
•Zinc/Copper - oysters, shrimp, beef liver

Conclusion

In a few short months; morning erections turned to full, orgasm sensation increased tenfold, and I experienced spontaneous erections in an almost annoying way. It was incredible. Supplements, hardcore meds, and INJECTIONS IN MY LEG (and belly) couldn't touch Peat's unorthodox approach.

I would try to lower serotonin with activated charcoal, bcaa's and the carrot salad. Also give your body a break. Even though you're 25 I still wouldn't ejaculate more than once a week. And if you continue to do it you will only dig yourself in a deeper hole. So let your body tell you when it is right.

My libido improved a lot after adding T4 to my dose of NDT. I am currently taking 100mcg of Synthroid and 2 grains of Thiroyd however I am always tweaking things. I also feel it boosted a lot after eating lots of saturated fats from cheese, milk and ice cream, I do eat quite a bit of starch as well.

There is a supplement called Butea Superba that is known to increase DHT, you might want to take a look at that.

HIIT if you're still around I would appreciate an answer to Brian's question about undereating/undercarbing/overtraining. Are you currently dieting? Libido is highly correlated to caloric intake for me. And by dieting I mean eating less total food than you would intuitively eat.

At your age I'd be suspicious that you only feel in the mood once a week. someone who is 25 should be horny pretty much all the time. Even though your testosterone is high, you could have other high stress hormones that are preventing you from having a healthy libido. Have you had those checked and can you post them here? (estrogen, cortisol, prolactin).

But you don't really need to have post those to fix the issue. The number one thing I would guess is that you're drinking alcohol? If I am correct this would be exactly the number one cause why your libido is low. Alcohol is highly estrogenic and there is no supplement or herb you can take to undo the negative effects of alcohol on the male reproductive system. Your body might make high testosterone to counter the high estrogen, but it would only really be serving you to repair the damage from alcohol and not really contributing to your maleness. The only way to improve the effects of low-libido from drinking is to stop drinking altogether (I had a low libido just like this when I was drinking, and there were some things that improved it but generally it did not get fully better until I got sober, and now I have a very high libdo and a very large output of ejaculate).

If you're not drinking at all, or taking other drugs or medications that could be interfering with it, then I would recommend getting a better physical of your hormone profile and posting it here.
