Carleson has a natural vitamin A derived from fish.
Is fish OK as a source of natural vitamin A ?
What would the normal dosage be for natural vitamin a ?

I get added Vit A from milk..its synthetic yet hard to avoid if I'm to drink milk.

Hi,
I suppose you know the interaction between vitamins A D K
http://www.lappart-des-spasmos.fr/forum ... ml#p327385

If you take fish oil you'll have pufa. Not a good idea. But you can see the ratio between A and D with cod liver oil.
(+/ 1/10 for usual grade).
no more than 1350 ER = 4.500 UI for vitamin A (one coffeespoonful of cod liver oil).
800 ER is generally advised (x 3.3 for UI) but that's Daily Allowance...

Don'take more than 2000 UI vit D3 without any K2.
See why on the link.

Requirements depend on your metabolic rate. Ray Peat mentioned 5,000 IU for a hypothyroid person; at a period of high metabolic rate he himself needed up to 100,000 IU to combat acne.

Liver is extremely rich in vitamin A: 5,000 IU is less than 10 g calf's liver. Liver also provides high amounts of the other vitamins.
