NAC not actually banned?

Apparently, NAC is not actually banned? this life extension company says the FDA did not ban NAC supplements, they only restricted advertising and selling NAC supplements as cures or aids for helping hangovers. so, life extension says their products will continue to offer NAC, and their above multi product does contain NAC still.
however, somethings not adding up, if you search NAC on amazon it seems like all products are gone. is the restriction maybe only on NAC being sold as a standalone, and it can still be in supplements if part of a formulation like a multivitamin? @haidut

Correct, not actually banned. While the FDA was able to pressure Amazon to stop carrying it you can still get it from plenty of other online vitamin/supplement shops.
