I recall the study being done about vitamin C - comparing how long it is in the blood after having the same dose via supplementation vs fruit. I'd like to see the same thing done with the various b-vitamins - know of any such studies?

Thanks, a daily protein smoothie would definitely help bump up the calories. I guess I'll experiment and see what digests the fastest together. And yup, it's hard to achieve caloric excess on a pristine diet when you've become a little picky after knowing about all the excipients, fillers, additives and so on in the majority of food items in supermarkets.
From what I've read on the forum, parmesan cheese is like the safest and most convenient protein/dairy source which is good news. I don't trust some milk sources after what I've seen in it but I'll spare you the negativity lol. Ice cream is another great addition minus the gums.
