Hi,

33yr old male; Recently discovered the forum after researching hormone related health problems I've been trying to resolve since my late 20s. Followed a Keto/low sugar diet over the last 2 years and developed a range of health problems.

Discovered Ray Peat's work recently and the incredible contributions to the forum from @haidut. Changed diet 3 weeks ago, removing PUFAs, starch foods and consuming lots of fruit juices and goats milk. Had an immediate energy boost and reduction of symptoms.

I'd really appreciate any advice on which Idealabs vitamin/hormone supplements would be most beneficial to start out with, based on the symptom history and test results I've listed below. I've also attached a copy of my DUTCH test results if anyones willing to delve into the details.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Reported low libido symptoms to Doctor. Blood test showed average/good level of Testosterone but SHBG @ 52 nmol/L. Wasn't considered problematic.

Stopped taking SSRIs & beta blockers. Followed strict keto diet followed by very low sugar diet with some intermittent fasting.

Developed further symptoms:
- Intestinal infection
- High liver enzymes & enlarged spleen
- Over 12kg weight loss (mostly muscle mass)
- Chronic fatigue and weakness
- High cortisol
- Heart palpitations
- Cold sweats
- Tightness in chest/breathing discomfort

Last year - Followed liver detoxing protocol and red light therapy. Experienced slight improvement in health and liver enzymes returned to normal.

Start of 2018 - Blood test results:

I started following a "peat" diet almost a year ago now, I feel best when I eat a little bit of starch as in 2 big slices of sourdough per day

As far as supps, I think oxidal is amazing as well as stressnon, both using one or two drops and not every day

Thanks, I'll look up oxidal & stressnon.

I really missed eating toasted sourdough with butter and marmalade!

Trader Joe's sells a great fresh baked sourdough with no added iron, in my opinion reduced iron is very bad and should be avoided as much as possible.

If you have high cortisol you should also maybe look at lapodin if you don't get good effects from stressnon. I'm going to try lapodin soon.
