I bought organic dried black mulberries recently. They have good mineral and vitamin content. They are delicious and good for snacks. Does anyone know if this fruit is high in oxalates or histamine? Do you eat them? Are they Peaty?

A good rule of thumb is that any bitter, sour or an otherwise unpleasant taste signifies anti-metabolic properties. Oxalates for example will burn in your throat. So if they are mostly sweet and delicious, they should be fine. Their seeds will of course have some PUFA.

@Pina, I eat black mulberries. I’ve been consuming them, and a variety of other wild berries, for a few years now without issue. I’m not sure if they’re high in oxalates or histamines but if they’re well tolerated and their seeds don’t bother you, I’d say they’re “Peaty.”

Thank you @TheSir @Jennifer. Today is my first day of eating them. I'm always glad to find more foods I can tolerate. I will report back if I run into any problems with them.
