Hello, been following your post lately. Have a couple questions. I am kinda new to all this. And really a little confused with how to put everything together so I don't gain weight. Anyway....is your milk raw? Or homogeneous from a store? If it's raw, do you make it skimmed or can you purchase raw skimmed? The truffles are they purchased as well and if so from where? Thank you for all the detailed and insightful post. Hoping to become more knowledgeable in all this. Seems a little overwhelming at the moment.

Hi Sapphire! Yes my milk is raw. The company I get it from use to sell raw skimmed, but not anymore for the the past 3 years. I am letting mine sit in a container for 24 hours and then I skim the cream top off with a turkey baster. Here is my cream layer in thin glass spigot jar. Homogenized milk would not work since that process it to keep the cream from separating. I haven't tried skimming with pasteurized. I get my chocolates from Target. It know it is overwheming at first, but you will get the hang of it and not put weight on from adding in dairy and sugar inappropriately like a lot of us on the forum did.

So in my 6 weeks I took off 6 pounds and put two back on, but at 6 weeks I went to take a pick in my size 6/28 no stretch white shorts and difference wasn't as pronounced as now 4 pound lighter. I lost a certain amount of volumous fat and replaced it with heavier muscle. As you can see in my late August pic my shorts were tight in the legs and across my lower stomach and butt area. I also didn't have to lay on the bed to get them zipped up today, and that is not having a BM for 3 days!! The skin on my torso isn't loose and so pinchable either, it is much more toned. I will get another pic when is "happens for me". Adding in a lot of whole milk had put fat on me, but taking out half of the fat and upping my sugar/honey has the fat leaving and the muscles returning.

So to get "things moving" I started my day today, after 2 cups of coffee, with a half cup of ricotta topped with chopped artichoke hearts and a half teaspoon of lemon olive oil. I could just drink "Smooth Move" herbal tea or take some Milk of Magnesia, but I don't want to disrupt my digestion in a negative direction. I am not uncomfortable or sluggish, so it is a good time to do a little experimenting in this area :)

My two ricotta dishes, LOTS of raw honey and lots of fresh squeezed oranges with coconut oil got things moving this morning!

That's so great! Thank you for the update :)

So here today is a more accurate comparison of my 5 pound weight loss in 6 weeks, on mostly lots of skimmed raw milk and raw honey. My scale was down a half pound today from yesterday.

"Protein deficiency creates an inflammatory state, and since stress causes tissue proteins to be destroyed and converted into sugars and fats, it's common to underestimate the amount of protein needed. One of the functions of sucrose in the diet is to reduce the production of cortisol, and so to spare protein."-Ray Peat

I found this amazing sprouted brown rice cereal to go with my milk! Not only is sprouted brown rice one of the highest sources of GABA, but it is really high in maganese! Remember sprouted grains are not grains anymore!

"Manganese is an essential cofactor for various enzymes, meaning that it helps these enzymes function and work properly in your body.

It also plays a role in the production of thyroxine.

Thyroxine is a vital hormone, important for the normal function of your thyroid gland, which helps you maintain a proper appetite, metabolism, weight and organ efficiency.

As a result, a manganese deficiency could cause or contribute to a hypothyroid condition, which may contribute to weight gain and hormone imbalances."

I starting my day today with 2 cups of brewed coffee with sugar and skimmed raw milk cream and now I dissolved 2 tablespoons of gelatin (hydrosolate, non-blooming) in boiling water and added in sugar and a couple of good pinches of salt. Tomorrow I am gonna add in a sprig of fresh mint from my garden for a dose of vitamin K1. I am having my gelatin with the custard I made last night. It gives me 18 grams of protein and 17% of my calcium!

Below is yesterday's foods which had the scale down today. It was my highest recorded calcium intake to date. I was really wondering how ice cream and custard in the same day would play out, but my body loved it! In the last few days I have experimented with meat with cheese, potatoes, sprouted brown rice meat and cheese with less dairy and they all had the scale inching upwards. It doesn't necessarily mean that I was gaining fat, but eating almost 100 grams of protein and the scale going down surely means I was losing fat. Had the scale gone down on a lot less fat could have meant I was losing muscle....

*2 cups brewed coffee w/skinned cream & sugar

*custard w/2 TB gelatin (boiled water, sugar & salt)
17 protein/17% calcium

*2 cups skimmed raw milk w/1 oz macadamia halves
24 protein/70% calcium

-2 cups skimmed raw milk w/chocolate
20 protein/70% calcium

*2 pieces candied ginger

*2/3+ cup homemade orange zest vanilla ice cream
11 protein/35% calcium

*2 oz top sirloin steak w/ 1 oz goat cheese, arugula & 1 tsp lemon EVOO
14 protein/2% calcium

*bamboo shoots w/orange peel and sugar

TOTAL: 86 protein/194% calcium

UPDATE:

I have been goig back and forth on which coffee is more effective for fat loss, either brewed with my "half & half" skimmed raw cream or 2 teaspoons instant with frothed skimmed raw milk, both with sugar, and the latter is more effective. Here is how I am making it. I mix 2 teaspoons of my organic instant coffee (my second cup only 1 teaspoon) and some sugar with about a half cup, or more of boiling water and top it with my frothed milk. This cup is a little strong so I am gonna go froth up some more milk to add to it ?

MORE UPDATE: My weight fluctuated a couple of pounds over the weekend, but it comes right back off when I get back on my milk and honey. Yesterday i ate a TON of Jennifer recommended whipped honey, which I got in night before last and i already ate about a quarter pound of it! I also had about 2 oz ground lamb last night with sprouted brown rice, some arugula and about an ounce of lavender goat cheese and a teaspoon of lemon EVOO. At bedtime I ate some mozzarella and a little milk and sugar and I am down almost a whole pound today with no BM. I also had my twe scoops of gelatin with sugar and a mint sprig tea the last 3 days and am loving it. I think upping my honey has really flattened my stomach!
