Not surprised. The only seafood I ever enjoyed was tuna, both canned and fresh but I've decided that the prevalence of ocean dead zones may indicate that the tuna is best avoided, due to toxicity from eating the fish, not to "save the environment." The ocean dead zones may indicate that there is a lot of toxicity in the ocean and it gets in in the fish people eat. There's also PCB's and viruses:

I just listened to an Interview with Tony Robbins, he said he'd been vegetarian for 20 years but started eating sword fish and tuna and ended up with extremely high levels of mercury and says it almost killed him.

Last week a whale washed up in Norway and had 30 plastic bags in its stomach.
