Hmmm, does this mean that it can be considered a presynaptic dopamine receptor? And why is it called the "novelty receptor"?

I have also seen a study of ultra-low doses of haloperidol (1/20th of the usual) being a completely safe booster of levodopa in people with Parkinson's. It means, it causes hypersensitivity to dopamine. This is also consistent with VERY mixed reports of hypersensitivity to stimulants such as methylphenidate, amphetamine and mdma after even 1 time took at low doses (also 1/20th of the lowest effective dose). Also of interest are studies on the hyperalgesia of ultra-low doses of morphine (~1mcg in human terms) and the SIGNIFICANT potentiation of subeffective doses of morphine by the same ultra low dose of naltrexone(I mean~1-1.5mcg of naltrexone).

There is small list of studies:
Dopamine supersensitivity correlates with D2High states, implying many paths to psychosis,
