Can someone clarify whether they're actually the same? As far as I can tell, the ingredients are identical, but some have postulated that they're actually different in some way or another.

My understanding is that in America it’s mostly HFCS. I’m not sure about Europe. It is listed as ‘sugar’ here in the UK (at least), but who knows. It might be worth contacting their UK customer team to ask. Just say that you are allergic to HFCS and you need 100% accuracy in what their sugar actually is. The other issue of course is the plastic bottles. You can buy the glass bottles here (although can be hard to find), but they’re expensive.

It's just ordinary sugar. UK sugar is made from sugar beets. Probably not worthwhile importing HFCS when sugar beets are grown in the UK.
