Many people deal with recurrent yeast infections that cause skin discoloration. Although most of the yeast that cause this are harmless, those people are often prescribed poisonous, estrogenic drugs like Ketoconazole. Methylene blue in conjunction with red light therapy has well known antifungal effects. In the following study, this safe combination was able to eradicate the most common yeast that causes tinea versicolor:

Cool! I have an infrared light and MB, which Ive used off/on. Incidentally, I have not had any Tinea in the last couple of years, either. Hmmmm...
