Metallic Smell In The Hair

I have been noticing metallic smell in my hair, i do use natural hair color, Naturcolor, it's mostly hebs with low peroxide. Could it be that I have iron build up ? And is it coming from inside of my body or maybe water pipes. I try to eat peaty way and I take basic supplements.
What are your thoughts?

I think poor copper absorption causes it to build up in the hair, I can't remember exactly how to counteract this but search the forum and there is definitely stuff there. I think zinc antagonises copper and magnesium deficiency can contribute to copper build up but like I said search the forum for clearer info.
