Metallic Smell In The Hair

My hair has metallic smell ,I hate it .I do color my hair ,but I use Naturecolor ,which herbal ingredients and low peroxide .I washed it with apple cider vinegar and shampoo. Where is this coming from? Do I have iron overload and how. I don't eat bread or pasta ,very rear. Please help?
