Hey,

I haven't participated in a forum in over 4 years, but this one seems to be highly productive and I'm enjoying the threads so I will start contributing.

My interests around nutrition surround having a healthy metabolism (metabolic rate), with ancestral nutrition principles, + bioindividuality.

My history involves going on diets that suppressed my metabolism: raw vegan, low carb paleo, and in general food avoidance, orthorexia. In addition I lifted heavy for years on end which stressed my body quite a bit.

So my goal is to optimize my metabolic health/rate, and improve my understanding of the general concepts therein.

Diet: sometimes I get lazy about cooking but for the most part I do well eating red meat 3-5 days a week, moderate carb intake, and mostly cooked vegetables, not raw. I tolerate dairy fine, and drink milk (i have access to raw milk). If I don't eat carbs I feel terrible. Too much intermittent fasting and I feel foggy, tired, and in general in a low metabolic energy state.

Anyway looking forward to chatting!
