Ray Peat is full of contradictions and I think Haidut and Danny have picked up on that in interviews. Danny had asked him about red light because Ray said it was very beneficial, but he changed his mind and said that red light might speed up cancer and only natural light is beneficial because it's broad spectrum. Danny was amazed because he was using red light bulbs and his face didn't look too happy.

I think you need to get your ears and eyes checked before you accuse people of being full of contradictions.

Ray was clearly talking about the single spectrum "pure red lights" which he was asked about - not the incandescent that Danny is sat infront of in that video.
He even finishes off by pairing incadescent light and sunlight together vs. single spectrum red light device
