Originally I was looking into the Magnetico sleep pad for our bed that we share with our toddler, I haven't found anyone that uses one or similar device that can give some good scientific reasoning why they're worth the investment.

Ray's response in an email regarding a lot of the sleep pads that somehow mitigate environmental stress due to it's design:

"All of them that I have seen are just high priced gimmicks. If you are near power lines or phone towers, it’s protective to put a grounded wire mesh on the wall facing the source. There are curtains containing conductive filaments for shielding if there’s a window of the exposed side"

Has anyone used any of the suggestions Ray share's in regards to the grounded wire mesh and/or curtains?

I found specialist that are certified in the below via The International Institute for Biology-Building & Ecology https://hbelc.org:

BBEC = Building Biology Environmental Consultant

EMRS = Building Biology Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist

Seems like this kind of stuff is just as important as the nutritional aspect.

Anyone here familiar with these specialists via this company?

There are a number of people, especially in the Jack Kruse camp, who swear by magneticos. One guy said "they are heavy, but worth their weight in gold."
I have gotten some mixed results with using them, or at the least, the benefit has become stationary and imperceptible. So I'm going to experiment with not using it and see how that goes. There is a chance that I am getting exposed to the positive field (not good) because of lack of thickness of my bedding material, but that would be an issue particular to me. I noticed benefits when I started using it. In general, I tend to fall asleep quickly and sleep through the night, which I used to have issues with.

I think the logic behind using a Magnetico makes sense, that you are emulating the magnetic field of the Earth, or at least what it was before the Earth's field started becoming weak, and that our biology is designed to work optimally in this field.

I would think that it is possible for both a Magnetico and shielding to be helpful.

Seems to me that we can overdue a lot of this stuff based on theories from so called experts out there on health. However, I'm leaning on potentially overdoing it a bit as there's no greater investment than health.

The shielding on the windows is something we're investing in soon.
