Magnesium, P5P And Butt Hurts No More

I think there is such thing as "bowel tolerance" for Mg. If you take a bunch and you don't get loose stool, it's going into your body. If you take it and it causes loose stool, you've taken too much, the wrong form, OR you need some missing co-factor.

I went years with a hurting butt. I first found psyillium fiber to really help, and take it to this day. And I take it with S. Boulardii which also really really helps, and soil based organisms. Maybe not Peat-y but it works.

Butt started to hurt a little with Mg supplementation.

In my experience, when the butt hurts, it's because of gut inflammation.

If magnesium causes this it's because the Mg isn't going through the gut wall. It's staying in the bowel and causing irritation. That's what I think.

I've noticed consuming P5P and Mg together seems to help the Mg get absorbed and doesn't cause the butt hurt thing. Thanks to Kineticz I think for pointing this out somewhere. It does seem to really make a difference.

Yes it does the same for me.
Also the form, like ionic or glicinate.
