I've started using a magnesium chloride spray a couple of days ago. I've sprayed it on my arms, legs, shoulders and back. It seems to have made me breakout on my back a decent bit but nowhere else. Anybody know why this is? Increased androgen production?

I think it may be a microbiota change or die off on the skin surface actually. It should go away within a few days to a week if you keep applying the magnesium.

That Dirt ammonia oxidizing bacteria spray product is in a solution of magnesium chloride, so I figure it encourages that type of bacterial colonization on the skin.

Maybe skin pores are bigger and sweat more on the back so there's more colonization there.
