I got my blood test results yesterday and my TSH has gone up from 2.2. to 3.0 compared to when I was 17 and my Total Testosterone has increased a slightly bit and surpassed the 500 barrier, I only slept 6 hours and was in a fasted state when doing that test so it might have impacted the results, I need to do another blood test in the future in well-fed/slept/rested state, other than that most of the stuff looks decent actually:

Iron 13.8 11.6-31.3 µmol / L

Albumin 49.8 34.0-50.0 g / L

Bilirubin-total 11.8 1.1-19.0 µmol / L

ASAT 38 <37 U / L 33

ALAT 44 <41 U / L 29

GGT 21 0 - 73 U / L

25-OH-vitamin D (D3 + D2) 51.80 30 - 100 ng / mL

Hormones

Estradiol 29.1 <39.8 pg / mL

LH 6.10 1.5 - 9.3 U / L

FSH 5.1 1.4 - 18.1 U / L

Prolactin 247 53 - 375 mIU / L

Testosterone 5.32 3.30 - 8.05 ng / mL

Free testosterone 0.131 0.09 - 0.3 ng / mL

SHBG 20.00 11.54 - 54.49 nmol / L

Free T3 7.8 ñ 3.5 - 6.5 pmol / L

Free T4 17.7 11.5 - 22.7 pmol / L

TSH - Thyrotropic hormone 3.0 0.48 - 4.17 mU / L

Cortisol 633.0 - nmol / L

Reference range -from 6.00-10.00 166-507 nmol / L.

In the evening from 16.00 to 20.00 73.8-291 nmol / L

DHEA-SO4 232.8 101.6-522.6 µg / dL

What could be causing lower DHEA-S and higher cortisol while Testosterone is in the middle and Free T3 is high and TSH 3.0?

I think low dhea, high cortisol, high free T3 and TSH 3.0 could all potentially indicate low thyroid. I'm not sure about testosterone but it would most likely come into balance with the other hormones and doesn't need to be addressed directly.

What could cause low Thyroid though? Doesn't Free T3 mean the body produces good amounts of T3 but the TSH indicates that it just needs aid from the pituitary to signal it to work as well?

Its hard to say. It could be something like stress or nutrition. I think that high free T3 means it's not getting into the cells so your seeing a build up of it in the blood. Pregnenolone might help if it is stress related.

Yeah my cortisol is high so I think it might be blocking the Free T3 from entering the cells, I wonder if it not entering the cells could be elevating stress hormones even further making it even harder for it to enter the cells and maybe lowering total T and free T as well as the result

Could DHEA/Preg/Thyroid break this loop or supplementing more Thyroid might worsen it?

They could all potentially help bring hormones back into balance but I'd definitely start with just preg and see how it goes. Dhea was instant estrogen for me even at just 1mg whilst stress was high but after a while with preg I can now take a few mg without that issue. Thyroids been key for me but it's less forgiving so I think pregs a good place to start mate.

I think lowering TSH would lower cortisol and increase DHEA. Thyroid supplement would be the easiest way but lowering fat and increasing calcium should also help to do that.

Can a flu/cold/fever turn off catecholamines? When I had it for 3 days in 2020 February my post orgasmic illness syndrome disappeared, sleep improved - quantity and quality wise and I felt more relaxed and less autistic whereas most of other times in my life I always felt off in some way
