Lets suppose someone is trying to eat low PUFA, considering vitamins, minerals, etc...lets say "Peating", and suddently you are working and have two options: eating PUFAic food, or chicken or pork, etc...vs not eating and starving for 2 or 3 hours more.

What would be better? to starve and wait to eat "Peaty" or to eat right away the best thing you can find despite the fact that it could have PUFAs, be high in the wrong aminos, etc...?

Ingesting PUFA has clear, systematic negative consequences. There's very little harm done by simply eating less. It's also humorously inappropriate to refer to a couple hours of hunger as starving. Why not just eat more before and after work?

Just keep some vitamin E with you and be sure to eat pufa with a bunch of sugar while staying away from starch+fat and you should be fine.

Also, MCT/coconut oil can improve the sfa to pufa ratio and can be stored at room temp.

I wouldn't go hungry as it can quickly deplete your glycogen stores, and cause a stress response.

Another option would be to take some Taurine + OJ throughout the day to help improve glycogen stores, so you don't get hungry every couple of hours.

"A small amount of these oils won't kill you. It is the proportion of them in your diet that matters. A little extra vitamin E (such as 100 units per day) will take care of an occasional American restaurant meal. Based on animal studies, it would take a teaspoonful per day of corn or soy oil added to a fat-free diet to significantly increase our risk of cancer. Unfortunately, it is impossible to devise a fat-free diet outside of a laboratory. Vegetables, grains, nuts, fish and meats all naturally contain large amounts of these oils, and the extra oil used in cooking becomes a more serious problem”

can we say that a few grams of PUFAS a day, in a diet consisting of 3800+ kcal/day with ~25% fat mostly coming from cocoa, avocado, skinless chicken, low fat goat dairy, eggs with ~400iu per day of vitamin E (I supplement A,D,E,K) isn't true to Peat ideas but still very solid?

If you wait to eat, you release unsaturated fatty acids into the blood because of the hunger stress. If you eat chicken or pork, those fatty acids will get burned or stored for later. I agree with Prosper: eat more before and after work. Be prepared for anything; I take marshmallows to work in a Ziploc and have a bite every 45 minutes. Coca cola vending machines are your friend.
