I see, thats a pity. I can eat liver without a problem but fortunately and I really enjoy it actually.

Yes I am very lucky but I do not use it to my advantage. I really only enjoy white fish like cod and that. It is wasted on me

Mm crispy cod is my favourite. And I've been roasting haddock in lemon and coconut lately which is sublime. So not even squid mussels or clamp?

Interesting, thank you. Do you just walk in a request the bloods, pick and choose what you want? Or do you need to go in and say "I have X, Y, Z wrong with me"?

Oh no you don't have to explain anything at all! You don't even need to book (though on busy days it might be useful). They list their standard test packages on the City Walk-In website under pricing. You can ask for specific things though if you want. Turnaround time is 5 hours.

You'll sign in, then a doctor will meet you and take you into their room. They might make small talk and ask whether you have symptoms/why you've decided on the tests you have, but you don't have to go into detail. I usually just say "oh, to keep on top of things!"

Mine was the Full Blood Panel by the way. Which frustratingly doesn't include vitamin D.

Also for reference (as it's not in my blood tests obviously!) I just took my pulse after walking and it's dropped to 38 :(

And I do mean walking, not waking.

Thank you for the replies! I'm not from London but can get there easily, so might see if there is one closer to me that includes the vitamin D and also thyroid in the total cost as well! :)

Latest hormones:

FSH: 4.9 (4.7-21.5)
Progesterone: 2.6 (5.3-86.0)

Testosterone: 0.9 (0-1.8)
DHEA: 8.2 (0.26-11.0)
Vitamin D: 83 (50-200)

Found an incredible bio-identical hormone therapist in London, who's going to make me a progesterone cream. :)

Great catch. I had low alkaline phosphatase on my last blood test. Extra thiamine for the win, it couldn't hurt. As what was stated earlier, could be zinc deficiency but I don't think that's the case with me.

I also heard that it's possible one could be thiamine deficient if your calf muscles are sore and tender when pressing your fingers against them, which is the case with mine. Does anyone know if this is a legit or a bogus claim?
