Once I went six months without masturbating. Started having wet dreams two to three times a week. I've been OCD about my own cum most of my life so it kind of sucked. Now I cum on things on purpose just to stop being neurotic about it.

I used to feel miserable after masturbating, which I attribute to being told a million times at school and church about what a horrible sin it is.

I don't really know what to make of it. St. Thomas Aquinas says it's a sin, Protestants too, even Buddhists frown upon it. But there are guys who do it all the time and seem to have no qualms about it, there's something incredibly non-neurotic about that attitude and I wish I was more like that.

Have you checked your iron stores (ferritin and transferrin saturation)?

If you have plenty, blood donation I think is worth trying.

Well, it became boring to me when it seemed less of a sin so obviously feeling horrible after masturbating has nothing to do with that. Or at least not as much as one may think

I am wary of the problems with iron and have been Peating for a couple years now. I drink coffee whenever I eat meat and don't eat tons of dark green veggies or anything. I highly doubt an iron overload is contributing significantly to my low libido.

Im going to try abstaining from any masturbation though, it's definitely true that Ive got mroe energy and drive before it. Problem is, whenever Im on my computer or sitting around the house, it's just so easy and convenient to jump on a porn site and fap away. I've been watching all sorts of porn since I was like 12, Im no doubt addicted. Sometimes I do it 3 or more times a day, because I think I don't get the pleasure and satisfaction like I did when I was in solid health. Time to bite the bullet and maybe install a porno block....0.0

What I need is a reliable way to safely elevate my DHT levels. The difference I feel when my DHT is low/high is night and day to me. I can even tell the difference in feeling between T and DHT, my androgenic insensitivity has been that burdensome over the past few years. Low DHT is awful awful awful... limp/numb penis, a blank/obtuse feeling at the front of your brain, poor circulation, short breathing and chest pain. All of this gos away when I stick to a solid DHT friendly diet w/o caffiene or alcohol, and smoke some tobacco through the day. I HATE smoking though... It's one of the few things that can reliably increase DHT, but the addiction is HEAVY... withdrawing from even a small amount of nicotine makes me feel like I need to passout.

Yes last Test I took my Testosterone and DHT were quite low. However the core problem is one of androgenic insensitivity, not merely low circulation levels. In other words, my nervous system does not respond to androgens as thoroughly as a healthy male should. This has been confirmed all across the PFS boards, many sufferers, for instance, will have "normal" range T and DHT and andro, but still feel terribly lacking in the libido/cognitive/energy department. Essentially I believe the condition behaves like nerve damage, and given enough time and proper nourishment the sensitivity is gained back.

Yes. I stopped getting blood tests a couple years ago. I managed to get my test up from 20dl to 100dl as
I felt healthier and Im sure the concentration has increased further since. I don't recall my exact DHT levels but they were similarly affected.
