Labs are very expensive in the UK and so I cannot get more all encompassing testing done at this point.
Despite having a fairly decent general understanding of the model of physiology that Peat works with, I lack experience interpreting specific markers on blood tests so would be really grateful for any help anyone could offer.
Other tests were Testosterone (24.1nmol/L) and Prolactin which i'm still waiting for but a previous test was extremely high (845mIU/L)
The results are attached below -
A couple of questions:
- The high serum Calcium: Is this an indication of high PTH? Would this be expected with very high PRL?
- The iron profile: T.I.B.C. and Transferrin Saturation seem to suggest Iron on the low side, but the Iron level seems toward the top of the range - any significance?
Thanks.
