If you search "liposomal supplements" on Google, every article about them appears to be positive, very similar to the situation with omega-3s. That makes me raise an eyebrow.

They are supposedly more absorbable because they're bound to phospholipids, which is supposedly the same fat that makes up our cell membranes. I'm sure Gilbert Ling would not agree.

Has anyone come across any research of the harmful effects of liposomes? I would imagine that if they're bound to the wrong thing, like ascorbic acid, which depletes copper, they can do a lot of harm. I'm also wondering if they're harmful in and of themselves.

The whole marketing of "more absorbable" is questionable. Don't we want our gut and liver to make the decision of what to absorb? I don't want to force anything in.
