It's a muscle and mind relaxing neurotransmitter. It's the main effect of alcohol and benzo. It often raises dopamin and lowers serotonin.

It seems to calm immunity but can also lead to bacteria translocation perhaps via those same mechanisms: Lidocaine suppresses mouse Peyer's Patch T cell functions and induces bacterial translocation - ScienceDirect. But maybe immunosuppression is just what some need. Unfortunately that means that lidocaine might help some but make others (who's problem lies with a pathogenic microbiome) worse.

I disagree with the conclusions of this study.

They are saying that Cytokines and cell proliferation are good things. I don't think they are.

Dose and ROA please. Was it a vial? I tried lidocaine gel, 100mg topically. I'm not sure I felt anything. Should it be via oral?
