Epstein-Barr virus screen .
EBNA IgG antibody * 253 U/ml (< 5 U/ml Negative)
EBV Early Ag ab.(IgG) <5 U/ml (<10 U/ml Negative)
EBV VCA ab.(IgM) <10 U/ml (<20 U/ml Negative)
Comment Results suggestive of past ( latent ) EBV infection.
Is the first value typical? I know that EBV commonly infects 95% of the population at some point. But should the antibodies be so high?
