I've never researched xenobiotics elminitation pathways (detoxification) seriously but aren't oestrogens and cortisol, adrenalin and a lot of other stressful hormones eliminated in the urine?

Just looking focusing on the aminos,
I wonder how that profile stacks up in PeatWorld...?

Your Body’s Own Super-Nutrition Therapy

In 1975, one of the founders of Miles Laboratories, Dr. A.H. Free, published his book Urinalysis in Clinical Laboratory Practice, in which he remarked that not only is urine a sterile body compound (purer than distilled water), but that “it is now recognized that urine contains thousands of compounds, and as new, more sensitive analytical tools evolve, it is quite certain that new constituents of urine will be recognized.” Among the urine constituents mentioned in Dr. Free’s revealing treatise is a list of nutrients that will knock your socks off. As Dr. Free comments, the ingredients listed below are only a few critical nutrients found in urine:

Alanine, total ….. 38 mg/day
Arginine, total ….. 32 mg/day
Ascorbic acid ….. 30 mg/day
Allantoin ….. 12 mg/day
Amino acids, total ….. 2.1 g/day
Bicarbonate ….. 140 mg/day
Biotin ….. 35 mg/day
Calcium ….. 23 mg/day

Glutamic acid ….. 308 mg/day
Glycine ….. 455 mg/day
Inositol ….. 14 mg/day
Iodine ….. 0.25 mg/day
Iron ….. 0.5 mg/day
Lysine, total ….. 56 mg/day
Magnesium ….. 100 mg/day
Manganese ….. 0.5 mg/day

Never mind. Apparently that's a myth.

Well...I don't know...but this source says...

Yeah I thought it was sterile but then realized that's debatable so I had to retract my statement

Wonder if a drop of Methylene Blue would clear up any bacteria? Wonder if it would react in a bad way?

https://raypeatforum.com/forums/posts/76514/ In the interview a tablespoon per glass of juice three times a day is mentioned. Peat agreed and said you can go much higher but when I did I got a bit averse to it so I'm taking that much again.

So, sueq...
do you have a rough estimate of what those 3 tablespoons would amount to in milligrams...?

Seems like a surprisingly large amount of these particular vitamins. And a surprisingly low amount of Urea

Narouz I don't, as I didn't explore further than that, but I will weigh it on my kitchen scale for an idea.

I'm currently dissolving 3 tbs into a jelly. My recipe is 3 tbs gelatin, 3 tbs urea, 2 cups of sugar - seems a ton but a jelly like this soaks up sugar like broth soaks up salt - and flavouring in the form usually of fruit/juice and enough water for the consistency I like . Urea's slight salty/ bitter taste is not noticeable in this recipe. Usually this lasts 2 days. I use it for lunch, snacks and night time snacks. It's one factor I attribute recent progress to. It is very helpful for averting afternoon energy slumps.

Good question, definitely seems possible. I wondered if putting it in a glass mason jar in the sun would sterilize it via UV radiation? There must be a simple way to kill any bacteria that it might contain but I just haven't taken the time to figure it out! I'm putting that on my To Do list right now :?

What about topical use of the urine? Isn't it an ancient home remedy?

So what does this say about our intake of these nutrients? It would seem this particular sample represents what that particular person over-consumed that day...or was this an average of multiple samples? If anything, it might make more sense to reduce intake of these nutrients to cut back on how much we are wasting each day, not to re-ingest them in this form. I personally don't agree with the idea that peeing clear or close to it is a bad thing, though, partially because my grandfather died from kidney disease.

Also, sodium is curiously absent from the list.

Thanks, sueq.
I was just trying to get an idea,
so as to compare to the 25mg or so in urine/day.

How is urea if you mix it with say lemonade with sugar in a fairly concentrated amount
and just drink it down like that?
Have you ever tried anything like that?

From a few years ago when I was reading about composting, I think I recall that there are one or two infectious diseases that can be carried and transmitted by urine, but they are not common. I understood urine to be pretty sterile other than these few rare exceptions (and depending on hygeine).

Anything lively in the waste can be killed of by heating.

(On a tangent, the hardest thing in the fecal waste to kill is the long-lasting eggs of some kinds of parasitic worms, and compost can get hot enough even for this under the right conditions).

I weighed 3 tbs - 38g. It sounds like it would taste fine that way. For a tablespoon I'd make the juice quite strong. And sweet.
