Keeping Meals Blood Sugar Friendly

For someone with low blood sugar, how can I make sure that what I'm eating isn't going to cause a significant rise or drop of my blood sugar? I can't say if I do right, but if I have a carbohydrate I have it with a fat like butter. And if I'm having orange juice, I try to have it after a meal so it passes slower. I focus on small frequent meals as well

Does this seem ok?
