cool, I thought it was supposed to end December 2012. I feel bad for all the people who sold books based on anything 2012. The world could end tomorrow, die with your boots on everyday...who knows when its actually gonna end. All that meant was that he thought if he managed to live that long he would die that day, somehow he figured that in his mind. Ill wave good bye and keep living

Newton was obsessed with biblical prophecy. He came up with the year 2060 as the year the world as we know it will end:

blake thought newton was an idiot........

Well, clearly Newton was not an idiot, at least not in all respects. His laws of motion worked out pretty well, and he came up with the calculus, even if Leibnitz beat him to publication. And a few other things. He seems not to have been a very nice man though.

Mysticism and science are one, as Newton obviously proved.

I am not sure what you mean by that, but here are some of the things that ray has said about newton.

After Blake, it would be nearly another century before others would see that the crude materialism of Newton and the Natural Philosophers was essentially a life-denying culmination of the worst trends of official religious dogma.

He recognized that Descartes, Locke, Hume, Newton, had inadequate ideas about the nature of “matter,” but he didn’t accept the simplistic doctrine of extreme rationalism that matter doesn’t exist.

The practical success of Newton's "laws" of motion when they were applied to ballistics and "rocket science" has led many people to value calculation, based on those laws, over evidence. In biology, the idea that an organism is "the information it contains in its DNA blueprint" is an extention of this. The organism is turned into something like a deductive expression of the law of DNA. This attitude has been disastrous.

There is a reason why people hate calculus, there is no purpose. Ray does promote people like schrodinger.

 I hope Newton wasn't an idiot. I rather rely on him for my rigid body simulations to work.

I am a Post-Millenial Christian. Post-Mils think that 2070 is the earliest that we will see the millennium (Revelation 20:1-3):
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
The world won't end at that time. In fact, it will be a great time to be alive (pre-Final Judgement). What is coming will be known as the Sabbath Millenium.

We are in the fig tree generation right now, by understanding the parable of the fig tree you will understand that 2070 is too far off. Jesus said before this generation passes(fig tree generation), He will return. That generation began in 1948 when Israel became it's own nation.

The world won't end at that time.
Correct, the world will be made anew. At the end of the Millennium is the Great White Throne Judgement.

The fig tree was cut down in 70AD by Titus.

Romans 11 suggests that the Jews will be rapidly evangelized at an appointed time (maybe a sign of coming millenium). Until that time, Jews will continue to go to hell.
