How much can we get away with?

I like Red Bull and more favourably Krating Daeng (Original Thai Redbull)

I know Kraiting Daeng has 3mg for citric acid in one bottle (glass yay).

Is this enough to be concerned and avoid such a beverage?

I really wish something so small as citric acid didn't matter, but I think it does, I too wish I could drink red bull or yerba mate(guayaki brand) drinks without having a reaction but that's just not the case

A little bit off topic but I love cocoa pebbles a lot, but the iron I think is cause for concern otherwise it would be like a perfect food for me with skim or 2 percent milk and oj

I think it does too, I stopped drinking them a few months ago, I'm grateful coca cola does not contain citric acid.

Maybe eat with coffee like many of us do with liver. The pebbles would actually be awesome alongside java with some whole milk

Hell ya lucky type I actually tried it with skim but ya it was good, ya like I can easily go through a whole box, I wonder if it is causing harm? I feel a little off for a short while so I guess I answered that lol

Don’t they spray almost all supermarket meat with citric acid as well?

Edit: nvm I dont think it is. I remember reading about citric acid being used as an anti microbial on meat, but I don’t think it’s common for all meats in the supermarket. I know the fda doesn’t require it to be declared, so maybe.

there should be other options, I think LIDL has a store brand version of cocoa pebbles with no added iron, maybe since its made in germany they dont need to fortify their cereal... although, they may only have the rice krispies or chocolate krispies version whatever that is, i think they do have a cocoa pebbles version too though. those cereal servings are crazy small, it says one serving but a bowl of it will likely be 4 or 5 servings, its an extreme amount of iron
