Is Animal Feed Grade Calcium Carbonate Ok?

Not OK. Animal feed grade shouldn't even be given to animals. For pets, it means they'll die sooner than later from contaminants. For food animals - chicken, pigs, cattle - it means we get to eat the contaminants.
USP grade is much safer, even though they're not free from. contaminants. The contaminants are much less though.
Nutrition from whole food is much better, but there are times when we still need to supplement.
