Interesting paper to raise Allo without acting on 5-HT reuptake

Hi guys,

I'm suffering from bad anxiety and depression from PFS since like 10y. I can cure it once I take a SSRI like bromazepam (brand lexomil). The issue is that I really don't want to take that long term so I do for example 1,5mg each 3 days it help a lot and it's still really low dose.

I found a paper that highlight the fact that microdosing fluoxetine normalize brain Allo without acting on the 5-HT reuptake. It look promising to me as it raise Allo near level of non depressive subject.

Would be interested to have your opinion on that and think it can help people suffering form mental sides of PFS also.

How is it going?
I started yesterday 1mg of fluoxetine tid, hoping it uplifts Allo without serotonin symptoms.
Does someone have any idea or experience?

Nope I didn’t try, I should but don’t know where to start since I had some bad ectopic beats lately. I also found this paper Upregulation of neurosteroid biosynthesis as a pharmacological strategy to improve behavioral deficits in a putative mouse model of PTSD

Ok Man.
Correcting, i started yesterday at 2,5mg/day of fluoxetine. Hope to see some benefits in my social anxiety disorder.
