According to what I found aspirin is acidic with around PH 3. I'm taking quite a high dose and I'm suspecting it is affecting my bladder.

Would the PH increase when dissolved in water?

It can cause metabolic acidosis and respiratory alkalosis, by rapidly increasing CO2 production and depleting Mg and glucose. So having magnesium and fruit juice with your aspirin should help a lot.

I think that sodium salicylate has a higher pH and does some of the same stuff. I like it better even though it tastes weird lol
