Salt to taste and satisfaction. Diet should include all electrolytes and trace minerals in generous quantities not just salt.

Sodium between minimum 500mg to 1500mg,with sweatloss, im not so sure.
I wouldnt recommend salt to taste though,it is an appeal to innate recognition of whats good for us that isnt confirmed by precedence.
People are huffing heroine from metal-foils because it tastes salty and gives mood.
Some Animals,if we allow them to,also overfeed on Sodium,it just tastes funny,and its overuse
gets thankfully curtailed by its sparse but consistent distribution in foodstuff.
