how about a Thymoquinone supplement? using a powder extract so to avoid PUFA

We have thymoquinone, but Peat said he thinks it may not be safe when asked about supplementing with it recently, unless somebody has cancer. So, I may add it to the Panquinone product but I don't think we will be adding it to products people use on a daily basis like Lapodin.

Given the studies with low dose ceylon cinnamon lowering ammonia very effectively, there is not much incentive to do the amino acid version. Ornithine would be one such amino acid and there are human studies with it. Look at the Wikipage on ornithine. Sodium/lithium also lower ammonia and you can't get any cheaper than a pinch of salt

So, would salt be a better option than cinnamon for lowering ammonia, since you don't have to limit it, and most people need more anyway?

Or is there something special about cinnamon that's more effective than salt?

I think ceylon works better and in smaller amounts. Just a pinch (about 1g) is enough to feel a strong effect if ammonia is elevated.

Psilocybin is illegal, and I don't want to sell anything that may give FDA/DEA a reason to shut us down due to selling drug-related products. Just wait and see how even legal LSD alternatives like 1-LSD will get people busted. It does not even have to be illegal. If they think it a chemical has a significant potential for harm they send the goons and hope that you won't have money to defend yourself in court.

Noted, I may try calcium chloride and see how it affects me when used as calcium supplement. It is extremely salty so people can use as a salt additive/substitute without increasing sodium intake if they don't want to.

@haidut have you ever heard of the peptide named Melanocyte-inhibiting factor? It's an endogenous peptide that is derived from the hormone oxytocin. It has been shown in small clinical studies to be very promising for treating depression and it also appears to have positive effects on dopamine.

A while back I made a detailed post about it on reddit called "A forgotten peptide: MIF-1 and its potential for treating Depression" with links to studies and everything.

This was an extensively studied peptide that was shown to have many benefits and has shown positive results in small-scale clinical trials on people for Parkinson's and Depression. There was even an attempt to develop a drug based on it called 'Nemifitide'.

It would be really interesting if you could make this available. Do you think that would be possible?
