Ideal Temperature?

Hey, all.
I'm super new, and clueless. I just checked my temperature, and it's 96.08.
It's like 7PM though, so I dunno what the ideal time is to test for temperature. Right in the morning? Before or after eating? Sorry if all this has been asked before.
Also, are we striving for 98.6? Or should we be shooting for something higher than that?
Any advice for pulse numbers as well?

Not sure of an ideal temperature, as such but as far as I am aware you should try check your temperature throughout the day. As you wake, 20 mins after meals etc.. Gives you a better understanding of how you tolerate and react to certain foods and how stressed you are at night.

Your temperature should be 97.8 - 98.2 degrees immediately upon rising in the am.
It should reach 98.6 by lunchtime and remain high throughout the daytime.
Pulse 85-90

Hey Rachel-
Is that a Peat thing or a Broda Barnes thing...?

Also: I think maybe it was nwo2012
who said the temps should come up to about where you mention above
and then stay there for around 10 hours per day.
Have you seen that?

One confusing thing for me with this stuff
is that I can get my temperatures into that range pretty reliably with thyroid meds
but not my pulses.
So...I'm wondering if I should take more thyroid to try to drive up the pulses.
My pulses tend to lag in the upper 70's and low 80's,
while my temps will be 98.6--99.3 or so.

^^ I'm the opposite. I can increase my pulse easily with aspirin but have temps as low as 94 degrees, often hovering barely around 97. I am FREEZING!!!!!!!

It's a Peat thing. I've seen different ranges for the pulse, though, and all of them were attributed to Peat. 75-85, 80-85, and 85-90. I think your pulse should be fine, Narouz.

This is from a Danny Roddy book: "Pulse and temperature are two hallmarks of wellness. Optimal temperature hovers around ~98.6 degrees F. while pulse is usually between 75-85 /minute."
