I don't know how much time I should spend in the bath. Online sources say at least 12-15 minutes, and the aim should be 20-30 minutes. Is there little benefit beyond this amount of time? Maybe wrinkling of the skin could be a good indicator of when the skin is saturated with water, and there's little benefit of soaking longer. I have fallen asleep in the bath and spent hours in there, but didn't get much more benefit than if I soaked for a short amount of time. Personal experiences? Theories?

I think this a good example of over-analysing the small details ;)

Honestly, no one can know the answer to this and the benefits are likely v small comparable to optimising the timing and ratios of your meals to manage blood sugar

It can be determined by measuring blood magnesium levels. I'm curious about this because I don't know if I'm wasting my time by being longer than 20-30 minutes.

12 minutes is enough. There was actually a study done about this, but I can't find it at the moment.
