Hello folks,

Due to having low 303 T back in 04/16 (was at 168 several years ago), I re-started TRT with cypionate@-5ml of 100mg strength x 2 week. Another test show in 07/16 showed it raised to 813 but Free T to 225.2 (35-155pg/ml), went to 0.3ml x2 week.

FSH@ 0.7 (1.6 - 8.0 mlU/mL)
LH@ 0.2 (1.5 - 9.3)
SHBG@ 17 (10 - 50)
Total T @ 813 (250 - 1100)
Free T @ 225 (35 - 155)

A1C @ 5.8
Gluocose @ 98 (65 -99)
Urea Introgen (BUN) @20
Creatine @ 1.7 (0.7 - 1.33)
Sodium @ 143 (135 - 146)
Potassium @4.4 (3.5 - 5.3)
Chloride @ 106 (98 - 110)
Carbon Dioxide @ 26 (19 - 30)
Calcium @ 9.2 (8.6 - 10.3)
Protein, total @ 6.6 (6.1 - 8.1)
Albumin @ 4.4, Globulin @ 2.2
AST @ 25
ALT @ 25

IGF-1 @240 (50 - 317)
Dihydrotestosterone @ 44 (16 - 79)
DHT, Free @ (4.24)
IGF binding Protein 3 @ 4.4
DHEA Sulfate @ 182 (38 - 313)
PSA, Total @ 1.7

Instead of my doctor ordering, what should I ask for him to order to see?

Thanks

Your albumin level is quite good, which plays a big role
in over all health. Co2 should be higher. Higher SHBG
can be protective against free estrogen.

RP does not talk about testosterone, but he acknowledge it's positive
effect. His approach is to fix thyroid and metabolism and everything
else will be in optimal range.

RP recommends measuring temperature and pulse 1 hour
after breakfast and other time of the day to get an idea about
over all thyroid status.

These are the tests RP recommends for metabolism, thyroid and health.

"Blood tests for cholesterol, albumin, glucose, sodium, lactate, total thyroxine and total T3 are useful to know, because they help to evaluate the present thyroid status, and sometimes they can suggest ways to correct the problem.

Less common blood or urine tests (adrenaline, cortisol, ammonium, free fatty acids), if they are available, can help to understand compensatory reactions to hypothyroidism"- Ray Peat

In other places he also mentioned CRP, estrogen ( estradiol) , SHBG,progesterone, pregnenolone, prolactin, total serotonin, reverse T3, co2, vitamin D3, PTH, calcium, Phosphate, DHEA, DHT. He recommends total T3 and T4, not free T3 , T4 tests.

ETA: Iron saturation index, Ferritin, Hemoglobin. Iron storage test is very
important as iron storage increases with age, especially in male.

I am in pretty good health overall.

I've started doing the brown bag breathing 3 times a day +/-

Not sure how to raise SHBG. I have been eating raw carrot, but will eat them before sunset.

Stopped my TRT (I was on very low 3ml x 2 of 100mg strength) and will work on metabolism and thyroid.
When said "optimal range," I guess RP means in my age group?

Upon awaking, it's usually at 97.6 and after breakfast (feeling warmer after meals) can be from 98.2 to 98.6 but have not seen it higher.
Pulse at rest pre/post eating: 60+/80+ but compare to temperate, pulse raising might be lagging behind meaning, it's usually on the low side.

I will get the tests above and full panel of others prior to track.
