I'm genetically born with a deficiency in the G6PD enzyme which I read doesn't go well with Asprin.

Can I still take it?

just curious, how do you know this?

My family has always warned me about eating Fava beans and peanuts growing up they told me I had the deficiency. when I moved out though I became skeptical and did a blood test to find out if its true, and it turned out it really is true.

I've never noticed any symptoms or anything though but then again I don't really eat much that isn't good for it.

I have read conflicting studies on this, but it seems like it is generally safe to take aspirin with G6PD deficiency. However, it is a G6PD inhibitor, so it might not be a good idea to do chronically unless you have a heart condition.
