No. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think you're getting lost in the weeds

Compare the values of salicylates in the source you cited v common fruits:

List of Foods With Suspected Salicylates | Livestrong.com

>High salicylate foods contain over 1.5 milligrams of salicylates per 100-gram serving, according to Saraband Health.

From the source you cited:

https://www.cancertherapyadvisor.co...dicine/hospital-medicine/salicylate-toxicity/

>Because methyl salicylate is so concentrated (a single teaspoon can contain 4,000mg or more) and can be absorbed through the skin, it can be easy for the total dose of salicylates to be unrecognized.

1.5 mg v 4000 mg

Toxicity is way out there in terms of dose. I think they're talking about clinical toxicity, not "eating too many oranges".

There is plenty of evidence demonstrating natural salicylates prevent disease:

A systematic review of salicylates in foods: estimated daily intake of a Scottish population. - PubMed - NCBI
Natural salicylates: foods, functions and disease prevention. - PubMed - NCBI

I think you're comparing apples to oranges.

I am a bit confused as they do not mention fruit in the link.

Fruit contains a tiny amount of salicylate.
