I just started with supplementing vitamin d3 drops because winter is starting soon. I drink lots of milk that already has d and a in it and consume a decent bit of butter everyday, and I also have 3 eggs everyday. I also have liver maybe once every 1-2 weeks. should I start taking a vitamin a supplement because of vitamin d supplementation?

1 flake, or even redness. Skin should be healthy and not flaking. :2cents

post 107534 If you live in the US and you're drinking lots of milk (w/ added vit A+D) then why would you supp A or D?

I thought D would be necessary because I get practically no sun during Canadian winters so I was thinking I'd need to take an A supplement to balance D

A, D, E and K are interrelated.

yes I was also thinking of k because I've heard of D supplementation causing calcification without proper vitamin k balance

haidut has explained this relationship very well in some threads. Sorry I don't remember them exactly but it should be easy to find them. I think the Estroban thread might be a good starting point.
