How To Reduce Serotonin

It is normal to consume 80g gelatin a day, however it is safe to go much higher than this. Gelatin does counter some of serotonin's inflammatory properties, however it does not prevent trypotophan absorption and you'll still likely suffer from other negative effects of serotonin. Theoretically the calcium in milk is supposed to reduce serotonin production but there are not studies showing this and milk still gives me signs of increase serotonin whenever I drink it (as well as estrogen signs). Certain cheeses and eggs are also high in trypotophan, in fact most peaters seem to adopt a diet higher in trypotophan than before. These foods might still be good for you but it is best to reduce their absorption again via bcaa's and tryosine. They should be taken together as bcaa's will lower dopamine too unless you take tryosine with it.
Can you link to a good source of these two supplements on Amazon? Isn't it the same supplement combination @haidut used to reach 1,500 T?
To the best of my knowledge a dopamine agonist will lower dopamine receptors. However this effect is negligible compared to how much porn and masturbation (and even too much sex) downregulate receptors. If you avoid these activities your receptors will still upregulate even on a dopamine agonist (depending on how strong the agonist is). Serotonin agonists seem to actually downregulate serotonin receptors suggesting that increases in serotonin create a positive feedback loop which is bad. DHT also lowers most serotonin receptors but increases the good ones.
So these drugs won't have any lasting benefits such as a higher dopamine to serotonin ratio?

@Sucrates

I don't think methylene blue lowers serotonin in any amount.

The list you provided is a nice list of "peaty" things, but you include several things on your list for which there is no real studies that they lower serotonin

Ok, thanks.

It's high in trypotophan, but taking bcaa's and tryosine with it will negate this.
I happened to take BCAA + a tyrosine this evening before training at a new school. Felt nice.
In the past, this much new social situation would have caused tortuous anxiety.

Yes sometimes it reduces anxiety too much though. One needs some anxiety to function.

A big serving of well cooked steel cut oats always makes me feel great and always comes out the other end like a brick. I interpret this as serotonin reduction.

The key to eliminating serotonin lies in the gut. I would guesstimate upwards of tweve-0 percent (or quite possibly more, perhaps) of all serotonin in the blood is "manufactured", indirectly, as a result of pesky gut bacteria. These filthy freeloaders should be killed off as part of digestion, but unfortunately have develped enough tricks and tactics, and by following the lead of the more successful, more clever individual bacterium, will breed and multiply and infest the stomach and intestines. This bacteria causes inflammation and produces endotoxin, which will in turn signal the body to produce estrogen and serotonin.

The best way to eliminate this excess serotonin is to ingest something that will clear out the gut of all bad bacteria in its entirety. The most effective thing I have found is to consume what I've aptly named " extra gut scrub-biddy dub dub (two men in the tub)"

It is made with an oysterizer blender, lesser brands will not work so do not attempt.

The ignredients:
2 cup shredded carrot
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp refined coconut oil
500mg dissolved aspirin
1 gram niacinimide powder
2 egg yokes
1 fld oz potato vodka or spiced rum
vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, light to taste

add cream to desired consistency
Tastes like carrot cake, works like a charm

I definitely had "serotonin symptoms" with a sterile gut, when I was experimenting with several antibiotics. I think serotonin can still be produced in the gut, even without much bacteria. Anything which irritates the guts can probably do it. Too much raw carrot irritates my gut, and produces the high serotonin symptoms.

TPH2 can synthesise serotonin in the brain.

It definatly is, shilajit is also used to increase co-q10 levels even more than just using ubiquinol/co-q10 by itself, hence why its many formulas.
Shilajit has another "dark side" though, in that it is a known supplement with possible contaminations (use google, you will see what I mean).
I used Jarrow shilajit, could definatly feel it working, felt slightly stimulating ( in a nervous kind of way ), so kind of stopped using it after a while, although it might have been wise to cut the dose in half.

Niacinamide is hard on the stomach and can kill bacteria causing bacteria die off symptoms.

maybe Im over dosing.
Symptoms of Niacinamide Overdose

or Niacinamide is killing bacteria and candida, get diarrhea as a result.
