I completely agree with peat that long term nitric oxide accelerates aging, and I've experimented with a range of nitric oxide lowering supplements which possess many great long term health benefits.
The problem for me is SLEEP. If my nitric oxide is too low then I get terrible insomnia. As soon as I raise Nitric oxide I can easily get to sleep.
However I've also noticed I can easily tip nitric oxide too high then I get all sort of weird side effects:
- shoulder pain as if I've torn a muscle
- somehow more susceptible to spinal injuries. My back is just a lot more vulnerable to damage it seems when nitric oxide high
- generally immune system is worse
Are there any ways to increase nitric oxide in a safe way?
