How to find out if my digestion is bad because of pancreatic encymes or bile?

I see a doctor in ten days, so what tests could be done to find out?
I never go daily, colour is too light, voluminous; mostly too soft and it’s floating.

Ox bile helps to go regularly when I take lots of it. Under 500 mg per meal and it doesn’t help.
i need to try this again cause it’s been some years since I did.

I got me some pancreatic encymes and started yesterday. Went to toilet the next day and it wasn’t floating, lot better shaped, not voluminous. Pretty good. Let’s see how this continues


But this stuff is expensive.


how long before my appointment should I stop taking the encymes if they start some tests ?

I can go daily with the higher dose encymes, but shape is still not good and in hindsight I think the not floating was from the taurine I took before cause it didn’t happen again.

You'll need a pancreatic elastase stool test to test for pancreatic insufficiency.

I don't know for sure how long to stop Supplements before a test. Probably a week minimum.

If taurine helps, maybe just do that for a while and skip the ox bile. Or, maybe try the bovine gallbladder supplement.
