For antagonists and agonists, respectively - and in what parts of the body is serotonin reduced by what degree? Blood vs gut vs brain, etc. Has anyone found good studies for this question?

But it doesnt make sense. A Serotonin agonist doesn't lower Serotonin, it raises it

I'll change the title but LSD, for example, is more often classified as a serotonin agonist.

An agonist typically describes activation at a receptor doesn’t it ? This should not increase Serotonin overall, it just helps efficiency. Blocking a Serotonin transporter raises it more than a strict agonist. 5htp and tryptophan raise it via substrate.
