there is 12w version of the ABI lights @ 620-230 & 620.

So you recommend the 24w instead ? or 12w will do just the dosing will be longer ?

How about dosing on these lights ? How many minutes per area ?

any recommendation for 850nm (e.g. Security Infrared Illuminators ?

The 24 watt one has double the surface area, so it's just quicker in delivering the red light dose.

I posted about dosing earlier in this thead. This is a good placce to start.

• Skin – 20 seconds
• Hair – 30 seconds
• Fat – 160 seconds
• Thyroid – 250 seconds
• Muscles – 260 seconds
• Brain – 300 seconds

No one really knows the perfect dose. That general guide seems to me safe for these grow lights.

excellent. I was looking at that exact one. I emailed the seller and said that it is 15w @ 1w per LED.

and this one. what is attracting me to this is the LED spacing is very tight therefore the light angle is overlapping but it is only 9w with 114 LED

Touching the diodes, power meter reads about 70 mW/cm2.

The grow lamps touching can get up to 300 mW/cm2. That's why I never touch those.

I was referring to all the ABI grow lights I have so the 12 and 23w and the 620-30nm and 660nm.

The other one was the aweeks illuminator that has from the looks of it the same kinds of LEDs as the one you linked.

have you measured the JC IR Illuminator Wide Angle Long Range 230 Feet 15pcs LED that you have used weekly ? if you have, what was the measurement ?

Highest reading is about 300 mW/cm2 on all the ABI's. with the meter touching the glass. It fluctuates greatly though.

That JC Illuminator I get up to 60 mW/cm2. But I'm not sure this meter is at all reliable for IR.
