How much gelatin to milk?

You don't need to add gelatin to milk, if your looking for extra protein a tablespoon or 2 with each meal would be good.

Assuming tryptophan gets converted to niacin. This requires calcium, but other nutrients too... I wonder if this conversion works when one is hypothyroid or after large amounts of dairy.

The calcium, sugar and nutrients in milk should counteract any negatives from the trytophan.
